School Ping
School Ping is our main means of communication to parents. It is a free-to-download app that keeps you connected to all of your child’s school news, via instant messages sent straight to your smartphone. All you need is an internet connection to stay in the loop with everything from sports days to parents’ evenings. You can receive and view documents, such as the newsletter, right there in the app. You will be able to access an integrated school calendar and book parents' evening slots directly within the app. You can also choose how you want to check your updates: on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Downloading the app onto a smartphones is by far the easiest way to make use of this tool.
To get the app on your phone you need to search for ‘SchoolPing’ in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the app.
Once your child starts with us at Hylands we will generate your own personal username and password. Once you receive these details, open the app, find ‘Hylands Primary School’ and enter your username and password.
Please ensure that you have downloaded this app before your child starts with us so you are ready to receive the most up to date information regarding Hylands.
If you wish to view School Ping messages from a web brower, please click on to the Hylands Primary homepage and naviate to the bottom right hand corner which shows 'DB Login'. Click and you will be taken to a page where you can enter your username and password. After this, you will see your School Ping message Inbox (see screenshots below).
